The wild pansy grows in meadows, along roadsides and on fallow land. The extract helps to smooth and soften the skin and its protective properties help avoid harmful environmental effects. The pansy extract is used to help alleviate discomfort and itching caused by problem skin.
4. Active Ingridients
Low molecular hyaluronic acid »Sodium Hyaluronate«
Hyaluronic acid is essential for regulating the moisture balance of the skin. With age, our bodies stop producing as much of this indispensable substance as they used to. In fact, at the age of 40, the skin has already lost 60% of its hyaluronic acid content. This can be replaced with hyaluronic acid that is produced by fermenting plant based source materials. We associate hydration with hyaluronic acid, since it is capable of binding up to six litres of moisture per gram. It also promotes the production of collagen and elastin, helps to eliminate blemishes, dryness and lines, and results in more supple, younger-looking skin. The lower the molecularity or weight of the hyaluronic acid, the better it can penetrate the skin to support its hydration and regeneration.
Vitamin E »Tocopherol«
Natural vitamin E extracts possess antioxidant properties that protect cells. They increase the skin’s enzyme production to help ward off premature aging and damage caused by free radicals. These extracts also prevent the oxidation of lipids in the skin membrane and in the emulsions that we apply to our skin. They successfully regulate hydration and bind moisture in the skin’s outermost layer. Their cell-renewing and anti-inflammatory effects promote healing and reduce skin damage caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays. The result is sustainably improved skin surface structure and retention of dermal moisture.
French sea salt »Maris sal«
French sea salt has a soothing and relaxing effect on the skin. It cleanses, regulates the skin’s pH level and has antiseptic properties. It contains many important trace elements, such as calcium and magnesium, to calm and regenerate. It preserves the skin’s natural moisture with potassium, which promotes cell activity and growth, to assist in clearing inflammations. Its magnesium content has antiallergic properties and natrium improves skin circulation while also supporting the energy transport of nutrients to body cells. The iron content has an invigorating effect and stimulates blood circulation.
